Our Ft. Knox High School Reunion 2009 provided the last time for alumni to see the old school before it is demolished to make room for a parking lot for the new school.  We are especially grateful to ToddCurkendall, Superintendent of Ft. Knox Community Schools, for graciously allowing us to tour the old and new schools and for giving up several hours of his time on a Saturday afternoon.

PROJECTS FKHS BRATS SUPPORT:
 
 
For over 8 years, Barbie Long Harkins (Class of 1973) has been involved in creating and supporting an "all access" playground in Harrisburg, Virginia, "A Dream Come True Playground."  This is a fully accessible playground enabling all children to play together; children with and without disabilities.  Barbie is the Volunteer Playground Coordinator.  The first phase is complete; however, the second phase will cost $400,000. If you would like to donate to the playground, you can do so by sending your tax deductible donation to: P.O.
